Research Overview:

Dr. Decker’s research interests include cooperative distributed problem solving, multi-agent systems, real-time problem solving, computational organization design, parallel and distributed planning and scheduling and distributed information gathering and retrieval. In addition to several book chapters, he has written numerous articles that were published in professional journals including, Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems, Journal of Intelligent Information Systems, Group Decision and Negotiation, The Journal of Real-time Systems, and International Journal of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence. Dr. Decker is also on the Editorial Board of Autonomous Agents and Multi-Agent Systems.

Dr. Decker did a postdoctoral research fellowship at The Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University and was a senior postdoctoral research associate in computer science at the University of Massachusetts.
