


External Advisory CommitteeThe Delaware INBRE External Advisory Committee (EAB), comprised of senior representatives from academia, the biomedical industry, the medical community, and government labs provides strategic comment and guidance to the PI and the Steering Committee on scientific, administrative, and other matters relevant to the INBRE program.
The EAB meets annually in Delaware to review program progress and recommend mid-course modifications where necessary. The External Advisory Board, acting as an external review board, and in partnership with the Steering Committee and the Research Committee, also helped select the Phase 2 research proposal funded starting in Year 3. The seven-member INBRE Board includes three members of the original BRIN board who guided Delaware through the establishment of the BRIN Network. The INBRE Board was expanded in size and expertise to meet the increased scope of the INBRE program.
