The event will positively impact graduate students by advancing their ability to network and increasing their knowledge of career paths and opportunities in STEM fields.
The event will feature Velia Fowler, a long-time Scripps Institute researcher and future chair of the Biological Sciences department, discussing how to build a network and use it to be successful in a STEM career. Additionally, there will be two hour-long, interactive panels focused on excelling in academia or industry.
